He further added that they will not compromise the essence of the said festivities. “We promise that people will still enjoy the Kadayawan Festival” Nadela concluded.
Security measures were imposed in the city just before the President declared. City Mayor Sara “Inday Sara” Duterte was quick to respond to the commotion happening in Marawi and announced a “lockdown” of the city.
